Crimea — Man-made-object detection test
Test task for the detection of man-made objects underground (fuels and lubricants, metal structures), validating the method's reach beyond mineral exploration.
Objective
Demonstrate that the Poisk method can reliably detect a known set of buried metal and hydrocarbon-storage objects against a real geological background.
Approach
Calibrated reagents against object reference spectra; processed analog satellite imagery; cross-checked with field measurements over known object positions.
Outcome
All objects in the test set correctly located, validating the method for security-and-defence applications.
